Event date: 6/12/2022 - 6/17/2022 Export event

The 2022 Southeast Credit Union Management School is back for in-person learning on the campus of the University of Georgia June 12-17. The week long school is an immersive 3 year program that cultivates operational, management and leadership skills to help credit unions professionals excel and advance their credit union career.

The curriculum goes beyond a typical classroom experience with a syllabus that focuses on financial analysis, change management, credit union philosophy, negotiations, asset liability management, financial technology, lending strategies, ethics and more! During the year between the in residence sessions, there is reading assignments, webinars, a analysis project of each’s own credit union, and leadership development through class officer and committee planning duties. Networking, teambuilding and leadership skills are paramount at SRCUS and over their 3 years, students often work in small groups, and even collaborate as a class to support class’ live debate team.

What can SRCUS do for your Credit Union Career? Here’s what 2 Louisiana alumni had to say.

“If you want to be challenged, taken out of your comfort zone and bring about change in your credit union, SRCUS is the way to go.  It is one of the greatest investments a credit union will make in regards to continuing education for their staff.” – Angie Baker, Heart of Louisiana FCU

“SRCUS exceeded my expectations. The professors have provided me with a wealth of knowledge to assist me in my career.”  - Yolanda Whitmore, Neighbors FCU
