Pelican State Credit Union Hosts Free Financial Wellness Workshop

Pelican State CU showcased its commitment to financial literacy on Thursday, July 26, by hosting a free Credit Score Breakdown workshop for Lake Charles, Louisiana residents.

The lesson was led by Pelican's Sulphur Branch Manager and Nationally Certified Credit Counselor Kendee Authement who spoke to attendees about the fundamentals of credit reports and the factors that can impact your credit score.

Attendees were treated to a free jambalaya dinner and were entered to win a Pelican prize pack containing a $50 gift card!
