Pelican State Credit Union Hosts Free Financial Wellness Workshop

On Thursday, June 13, Pelican State Credit Union hosted a Protecting Yourself Against Identity Theft Workshop for Alexandria, Louisiana residents.

Pelican's Nationally Certified Credit Counselor Shanise Johnson spoke to attendees about what information is important to identity thieves, types of scams to watch for, and ways to protect their identity and credit.

Attendees were treated to a free jambalaya dinner and drinks and entered to win a Pelican prize pack containing a $50 gift card!
