On Thursday, August 31, Pelican State Credit Union hosted a FREE Financial Wellness Workshop for the Covington community at Pelican State Credit Union's Covington branch.
Pelican's Nationally Certified Credit Counselor, Brenda Whitney, spoke to attendees about the fundamentals of credit scores, such as what a credit report is, how credit scores are calculated, and the benefits of improving your credit score.
Guests in attendance enjoyed a free jambalaya dinner, drinks, dessert, and a raffle for a Pelican prize pack containing a $50 gift card!
