Neighbors FCU held their annual Clays for a Cause sporting clays tournament Friday, October 18th, 2024 at Riverside Sporting Clays. Teams from regional businesses competed to raise money for the Neighbors Capital Area Foundation.
Teams competed in a 100-shot course. David Smith, Troy Soileau, Landon Turner, and Damon Spears won first place and a $600 cash prize. The second-place team from Loomis donated their $400 cash prize back to the Neighbors Capital Area Foundation, while A+ Lawn Care won 3rd place and a $200 cash prize.
This event would not have been possible without our generous sponsors, who contributed a total of $21,850. Special thanks go to Fiserv, Grand Construction, and Enterprise who contributed $2,500 as Sharpshooter sponsors.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Neighbors Capital Area Foundation’s scholarship program, the Neighbors Way Tuition Assistance Award. To date, the Foundation has granted over $297,000 in scholarships to 99 students in the Greater Baton Rouge Area.
