Neighbors FCU Names Eric Starkey Chief Technology Officer

Eric Starkey has been named Chief Technology Officer at Neighbors Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge, LA. Eric comes to Neighbors with over twenty years in information technology management in a variety of roles such as network security, data analytics and technology consulting.

Most recently, he served as Chief Information Officer at Louisiana Federal Credit Union where he provided executive leadership to the credit union on a number of critical projects modernizing information systems, implementing interactive teller machines, the establishment of information security best practices and many more.

“Eric comes to us with a wealth of experience in information technology across a variety of industries,” said Neighbors President/CEO Steve Webb. “He is passionate about the credit union movement and making a positive impact on our members’ lives.”

Eric earned his BS in General Studies and a Masters in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. He holds a variety of professional certifications in information security management, risk and information security control, data privacy solutions, cybersecurity analytics, IT service management, project management and cloud security.
