Ascension CU is excited to announce they were honored to receive the Ascension Public Schools’ “PARTNERS IN EDUCATION” 2023-24 Award for OUTSTANDING SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR, which was announced and presented during the recent Ascension Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and Summit!
Ascension CU supported 16 Schools with $16,450 in support including a $1,000 scholarship for each of the four (4) High Schools and College Option, volunteered hours, and other in-kind support. Ascension Parish Schools in corporation with the Ascension Chamber of Commerce established the “Partners in Education” program in 2022 to help strengthen student knowledge and preparation to create a more skilled and successful workforce.
Ascension CU was also proud to sponsor the keynote speaker, Gonzales Chick-fil-A Restaurants owner, Cody Salomone, at the luncheon, where he shared many insightful Team Building and Customer Service ideas.
