Ascension Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of Monty Buckles to the team as Business Development Manager. With 22 years of experience in the credit union industry, Monty has a strong commitment to helping individuals achieve financial wellness, particularly within the Ascension Parish community.
Monty has built his career around fostering relationships and supporting both commercial and consumer members. In addition to his extensive professional experience, Monty has served as an Ambassador with the Ascension Chamber of Commerce and remains actively involved in various nonprofit and community organizations. His leadership is marked by a passion for financial education and community outreach, exemplified by his Credit Union Business Development Professional Certification (CUBDP) in 2019 and Credit Union Financial Counseling designation (CCUFC) in 2020.
