Financial Service Representative: New Orleans

Campus Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Service Representative for our New Orleans region. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members. A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members. Financial Service Representatives provide current and prospective members’ exceptional service using a consultative sales approach to become the member’s trusted advisor through every stage of their life.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively cross-sell additional products and services by identifying the financial needs of current and prospective members and offers appropriate credit union solutions
  • Promotes business for the Credit Union by maintaining good member relations and referring members to appropriate in-house personnel and Credit Union affiliates for new services
  • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales management actives including outbound calling program
  • Assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures
  • Handles routine member inquires, financial transactions, account maintenance and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner
  • Actively participates in in-house consumer lending training to prepare for basic lending limits.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all Credit Union products and services
  • Ability to assist at other branches in the region based on staffing needs
  • May assist the teller line, as needed to include processing teller transactions and mentoring tellers

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution
  • Knowledge of banking rules and regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
