University of Louisiana Federal Credit Union celebrated its 64th Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the UL Lafayette Student Union Atchafalaya Ballroom. This was the first in-person meeting held since 2019. Members in attendance received a complimentary hot lunch and choice of a small gift.
A total of 210 members attended. Voting by acclimation was held to re-elect three Board Members into three year terms. They were Carolyn Broussard, Michael Simon, and Bill Crist.
Employee Service Awards were given to seven employees who achieved a milestone work anniversary by the end of 2021. Those employees were: Sean Broussard - five years, Nadine Arnaud - five years, Laura Johnson – 10 years, Sarah Mire – 10 years, Carmen Guilbeaux - 15 years, Donna Robin - 15 years, and Monica Declouet - 25 years.
A 50/50 Cash Raffle was held. In total, $771.00 were raised. $385.50 was won by a participating member, and $385.50 was donated to the Credit Union Legislative Action Committee (CULAC).
Over 30 door prizes were given at the end of the meeting, were donated by vendors and partners of the credit union and some were donated by the credit union. Some prizes given were a 55” TLC Smart TV, 8 Loge Box Tickets and Stadium Club Passes for Louisiana Baseball at Russo Park on May 20, 2022, Wireless Beats Studio Buds, and a wood burning fire pit.
