Tanya Lawrence has been named Chief Operating Officer at Neighbors Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge. In nearly thirty years at the credit union, she’s held a variety of positions working in every facet of the organization. Her career started on the front line as a teller before moving into a variety of roles in lending, member service and becoming the VP of Operations. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions beginning in June 2018 where she oversaw the operation of the E-Commerce, Enterprise Solutions and Project Management teams.
“Tanya will bring her experience in managing new projects and implementing new channel experiences to our full retail team,” said Neighbors CEO Steve Webb. “She has an excellent track record of pursuing new technologies to keep Neighbors on the leading edge of member service and her innovative thought process will continue to make Neighbors one of the preferred financial institutions in Louisiana.”
Tanya earned her BS in General Business Administration from LSU. She attended NAFCU Management Development Institute, is a graduate of Southwest CUNA Management School, as well as a Certified Visa Business School Trainer.
