Branch Manager: Baton Rouge

Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Branch Manager to support the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Credit Union's objectives. 

Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Provide a superior level of member relations and promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation. 
  • Within lending authority, approve/deny loan applications based on applicant’s creditworthiness and Campus Federal loan policies. This includes loan applications originated by other branch personnel that are above their lending authority. 
  • Attain established Credit Union and branch member, loan, and deposit growth goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs. 
  • Participate in community affairs and outside sales visits to increase the Credit Union's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities. 
  • Serve as the branch’s subject matter expert relating to more complex loan and deposit account processes and act as liaison between branch personnel and support areas. 
  • Promotes business for the Credit Union by maintaining good member relations and referring members to appropriate in-house personnel and Credit Union affiliates for new services. 
  • Resolve member complaints in a manner that will maintain member loyalty and protect the reputation of the credit union. 
  • Perform supervisory duties of department staff, either directly or through a subordinate manager. Ensure proper branch staffing. Interview, hire, train, coach, motivate, discipline, and evaluate performance of department staff. 
  • Provides continuous training to staff regarding operations and policies. 
  • Ensure branch adherence to quality control standards during the lending and account opening processes. 
  • Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and sensitive member information is maintained and secured. 


  • 3+ years supervisor/manager experience in a financial institution 
  • Lending knowledge/decision making 
  • Strong operational skills 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Ability to cross-sell products and services 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
  • Professional appearance
